Questions to Ask a Professional Concrete Company

New Home Digest

So, you need some concrete and go to a professional. That’s great! But, there are some questions you might want to ask these pros before anything permanent is done to your property. In this video, Tom Hause of the channel Concrete with the Hauses will discuss the ten questions you should ask before having concrete poured.

The first question a concrete company is often asked is how soon they can get there. Spring is their busiest season, so it may take them a while to get to you then.

You might want to ask how big the work crew is. This will give you a good idea of how long the job will take. Ask if they’ve ever handled a job like the one you want them to take on. Get some references. Most certainly you will want to know how much this is going to cost. Get it in writing. Do they want a deposit upfront? Ask about warranties in case the pavement cracks more than it should. You’ll also want a ballpark figure on how long this task is going to take.

As you can see, there are many questions that a concrete company will get before they are hired for a job. Hopefully, these helped you before you hired a company, too.
